On behalf of Team USA I would like to thank everyone again for contributing to our cause. We had some overwhelming support that helped us reach our goal in just under a few hours. Team USA went undefeated over the 4th of July weekend only losing 2 points the entire tournament. We took down a very strong Team Russia in the final and are incredibly thankful for the support that helped us represent our country at the highest level. Although we won, we wanted to show that winning isn’t everything. If you have the opportunity or platform to do some good, then you should do so as often as possible. We auctioned off some autographed Team USA gear and combined it with the excess GoFundMe dollars in order to redistribute the generous support.
“Team USA donated $700 USD which translates to about 47 care packages! Awesome!!”

After thorough research into various Non Profit Organizations, “Operation Gratitude” seemed like the best fit. With every $15 they send a care package to 1 person. These people include the tens of thousands brave men and women still deployed overseas in harsh and remote areas; their children anxiously awaiting their return; and New Recruits, Veterans, First Responders, Wounded Warriors and their Care Givers. Team USA donated $700 USD which translates to about 47 care packages! Awesome!!

This donation came from the PAINTBALL COMMUNITY and the letter sent with the donation was as follows:

“While you men and women are busy fighting for our freedom, safety, and country we wanted to let you know how thankful we are for your sacrifice. This modest but sincere donation is coming from the PAINTBALL community. The top professionals from the U.S.A. traveled to London to compete in a Nations Cup representing America over the 4th of July weekend. In order to pay for some of the cost we started a GoFundMe campaign and with the help of the paintball community we exceeded our goal in less than 3 hours! We decided to use the excess funds, along with funds from auctioned Team USA gear to pass along as a gesture of gratitude. We wanted to redistribute our support to you. Once again, on behalf of the paintball community, THANK YOU for all you do. We appreciate the sacrifice of you and your families more than words can express.

P.S. Team USA went undefeated and won the tournament, bringing the gold medal back to America!”

Thank you paintball world, together we did something pretty cool! Won the Nations Cup and sent 47 care packages to some very deserving individual s!
