40 participants, 8 professional coaches, 2 amazing organizers and one of the best weeks of my life. Seriously, the BKi Summer Camp was one of the coolest things I have ever done in paintball and I am still missing it. We created some memories that I will cherish for a long time. We wanted to create an intimate experience unlike any other for players to come and learn what it takes to reach the highest levels within the sport. Our vision was to have a week long camp that would teach the players everything they need to know to become a professional paintball athete. This is more than just understanding the fundamentals, it is understanding the lifestyle. We wanted them to understand the type of hard work it takes to succeed and show them first hand how we have reached our positions within the sport. Becoming a professional paintball player is not easy at all and we wanted to be sure we set everyone up with the tools it takes to get there. I think it’s safe to say we accomplished that goal.

After a successful weekend coaching at the WCPPL it was time to hop on a quick 15 hour flight to head down under for Round 3 of the Super Sevens in Sydney, Australia. This was an extremely important event for the series as we were sitting in 1st place overall but with teams close behind. The post Australia Super 7’s Round 3 appeared first on Marcello Margott.

It has been a full month dedicated to some major events. First up was the NXL Atlantic City Open which ended with an early defeat Sunday morning. It is always hard to tell exactly how a field will be played based on the layout image alone. You need time on the actual field. Even with years of experience the layout always surprises me in one way or another, however, we can get a pretty good feel for what it might be like The post NXL Atlantic City Layout INITIAL Review appeared first on Marcello Margott.

With every closed door there lies opportunity for another to be opened. Dynasty had some off season changes that many thought we wouldn’t recover from. Oliver Lang retired and Dalton decided he wanted to play for Impact, the team that was certainly our biggest rival of the year, beating us in both of The post NXL Las Vegas Open 2017 appeared first on Marcello Margott.

It’s 2am and my flight is just landing back in San Diego from London. After a ton of delays, missed connections, and a few close calls I was finally home for all of 5 hours before I had to be on another plane down to South America. My gear was incredibly dirty from the London The post Colombia with team Tsunami appeared first on Marcello Margott.

Nashville was a tough loss to swallow. I personally played at a 5 out of 10 if I were rating myself, maybe even worse. I was prepared, focused, conditioned, and mentally ready to come in and help my team win. Sometimes that isn’t enough and this time, it wasn’t. We had excellent practices leading up The post NXL Nashville 2016 – Feelings of defeat appeared first on Marcello Margott.
